Priyanka Chopra Leaves Bharat Controversy Behind; Congratulates Salman Khan’s Loveratri Team

Whatever went wrong between Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra, in the last few days, has surely not hampered her equation with the Khan-daan. In her recent post, PeeCee has congratulated Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma for his debut film, Loveratri.

Salman Khan may have avoided interacting with Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra. He may have changed his flight timings to avoid a face-off with the actress but Priyanka Chopra seems to have forgotten about the Bharat controversy, already. The global icon has put the past behind her and holds no grudges with the Khan-daan. What makes us say that? Well, in her recent tweet, Priyanka Chopra has congratulated Team Loveratri and wished all the luck for Arpita Khan’s husband, Aayush Sharma’s debut.

Needless to say, Salman Khan’s production is helming this project and the superstar himself is promoting it extensively. He recently launched the trailer in Mumbai and Delhi. At such a time, when the Bharat controversy has still not died down, Priyanka took the chance to hint peace and wrote in her tweet, “Welcome to the movies my friend @aaysharma... From the looks of this trailer, you’re gonna make quite the debut! All the best @Warina_Hussain and lots of love to the #Loveratri team.”

You may recall, that at the trailer launch of Loveratri in Delhi, when Salman Khan was asked about Priyanka’s sudden exit from Bharat, he had said that while leaving the film, PeeCee had given some other reason (hinting towards her wedding to beau, Nick Jonas) and then the news of Priyanka signing a Hollywood film was out. So, he doesn’t know what the exact reason is but whatever it is he is happy for the actress, for making the country proud globally. Salman had said, “I am really happy for her. Uss waqt hum ko ye pata chalta ke unhone wahan par koi bahut badi film sign ki hai aur hume thoda pehla pata chalta to hum waise bhi usko kabhi rokte nahi (If we had known then that she has signed a big Hollywood film, we wouldn’t have stopped her from leaving the film). End moment pe pata chala, shooting ke 10 din pehle pata chala. Shooting shuru ho gayi thi meri, par unke schedule se 10 din pehle pata chala ki who picture chhodna chahti hai. (We go to know at the end moment, 10 days before the shooting that she wants to leave the film). We said of course, if you don’t want to do it, don’t do it. Uss waqt kuchh alag reason diye gaye the hame (We were given another reason then..) Jo bhi reason hai, shaadi ka reason ho, ya picture ka reason ho, ya unko India main nahi kaam karna, ya mere saath nahi kaam karna, sirf Hollywood film aur TV show karna hai, wo unka reason hai. (Whatever it is, her wedding, Hollywood film or the fact that she does not want to work with me, it’s her reason.) We are really happy and supportive about her doing good work. Agar yahan pe kaam nahi kare to kya hua, waha pe to who Hindustan ka naam roshan kar rahi hai. Agar Salman Khan ke saath kaam nahi karna, waha ke kisi bade hero ke saath kaam kar rahi hai to Hindustan ka naam to roshan hota hai na (If she doesn’t want to work here with me, there in Hollywood she is making our country proud. If she doesn’t want to work with Salman Khan, she’ll work with a top actor in Hollywood and make our country proud)."

Well, although Salman Khan too has made it very clear that the family holds no grudges against Priyanka for walking out of the film, ditto is for PeeCee too, who has also reciprocated by wishing luck to his venture, not to forget the fact that she is best friend's with Salman's little sister, Arpita Khan Sharma. So, shall we say, all's well that ends well?
